Angeles (UCLA) was established in 1919. The UCLA is a non-profit higher
education institution and it is located in the city of Los Angeles, United
States. The parent organization of UCLA is University of California. According
to college data, the enrollment of students in 2014 was, 43,239, and acceptance
rate was 17.3% in 2015. The total enrollment of student in 2015 was 43,301.
Which contains 12,323 Postgraduate students and 29,585 Undergraduate students.
Over 26,139 administrative staff and about 4,000 academic staff has been
serving in UCLA.
About 120,000 application were
received for Postgraduate and Undergraduate programs in fall 2016. The
applications were received for 337 undergraduates and postgraduate programs. The
UCLA receipt 97,064 application in 2016, 92,728 in 2015, 86,554 in 2014 and
80,522 application in 2013 for Undergraduates programs. However 17.3%
applications were accepted in 2015, 18.6% accepted in 2014 and about 20.4%
application were accepted in 2013.

is ranking #12, Times Magazine for Higher Education World ranking was #16 in
2016, the UCLA is world ranking is #12, the ARWU ranking is #12, the QS World
Ranking is #27, and CWUR world ranking is #15. Similar as U.S. News & World
Report world ranked UCLA #8 in2016, the Financial Times ranking was #26 in
2014. CWTS Leiden ranking #20 in 2015, The UCLA was ranked by University Ranking
by Academic Performance (URAP) #12 in 2015 and the Webometrics ranking was #9
in 2015.
Colleges and Schools of UCLA:
The UCLA organized 5
undergraduate colleges, 4 professional health science schools and 7
professional schools. The UCLA College for undergraduate colleges are the Henry
Samueli School of Engineering, College of Letters and Science, School of
Engineering and Applied Science, School of Theater, School of Nursing and
School of Arts and Architecture. The ULCA has been serving with 3 field medalists,
13 Nobel laureates and 3 Turing Award winners as well as researchers, faculty
or alumni.
